Make the working environment visible
“Staff nurse” can cover very different practice. Name the setting—acute medical ward, surgical unit, rehabilitation, residential elder care or community service—and indicate the type of patients cared for. Briefly describe shift responsibilities, team context and core procedures you genuinely performed.
Use reverse chronology and consistent month-and-year dates. Explain significant gaps simply rather than hiding them. List your qualification with the awarding institution and country; do not translate it into a protected German title you have not yet been authorised to use.
State language and recognition honestly
Give the language level and evidence you actually hold, then state ongoing study separately. For recognition, use a factual status line and date. Employers can then ask useful follow-up questions instead of discovering ambiguity late in the process.
Keep the document readable. Two focused pages often communicate more than a long inventory of every task. Patient names, case details and confidential workplace records never belong in an application.
